Discard unwanted variables from your data — discardClusterVariables • cypro

Discards variables from the provided object. They can not be restored apart from adding them again artificially. Use with caution.

discardClusterVariables(object, cluster_variables, phase = NULL)

discardMetaVariables(object, meta_variables, phase = NULL)

Arguments

object

object	A valid cypro object.
cluster_variables, meta_variables	Character vector. The variables you want to discard.
phase	Character or numeric. If character, the ordinal value referring to the phase of interest (e.g. 'first', 'second' etc.). referring to the phase of interest or 'all'. If numeric, the number referring to the phase. If set to NULL takes the phase denoted as default with `adjustDefault()`. Ignored if the experiment design contains only one phase.

A valid cypro object.

cluster_variables, meta_variables

Character vector. The variables you want to discard.

phase

Character or numeric. If character, the ordinal value referring to the phase of interest (e.g. 'first', 'second' etc.). referring to the phase of interest or 'all'. If numeric, the number referring to the phase.

If set to NULL takes the phase denoted as default with adjustDefault().

Ignored if the experiment design contains only one phase.

Value

An updated version of the input cypro-object.
